A photography journey
photography by: Bob Willers
There are times when carrying a heavy
camera and lenses is just not practical.
In this example of a school dormitary
window at Canterbury Cathedral just an
ordinary pocket compact was the only
camera carried
Inside the Cathedral, using the compact, it
was easy to get the desired results by
focusing on the light in the quadrangle
behind the window, Inside was much
darker, the light illuminating the coloured
panes
From a distance, these Buddhist Monks
were captured by zooming the lens on the
compact. Had it been a phone camera, it
wouls have achieved the same results.
Cropping in removed the unwanted parts of
the image.
